We didn't realize the full extent of the damage until it was already completely assembled. The parts were bent but we bent them back with pliers but the big issue was that the igniter button had to be put back together and that part of the grill is bent in so hopefully it will still work. Otherwise it is an awesome looking grill! I will put up an update if the grill will not ignite due to the shipping damage.Update! The grill works like a dream despite the cosmetic issues. This is a great grill for the price! It came here fast since the Amazon prime and the packaging was in good shape, I opened the box and only found 2 minor bends and it was only on the side of the black front piece. It was very fixable with pliers or a hammer. Everything came together easy and fast. I can't believe how awesome this turned out to be. my husband loves to have a temp gauge on his pits and this has one. The side burner is nice and simple. I would recommend this to others that live near me since the pits over here are at least $300 for something with low quality. Thank goodness for Amazon! |
